These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Veilant website and services operated by Veilant LLC ("Veilant," "we," "our"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Veilant provides privacy compliance consulting services and a software platform for PII detection, DSAR management, consent tracking, and data masking. Services are offered under Free, Starter, Business, and Enterprise tiers.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and all activity under your account.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
You retain all ownership rights to data you upload to the platform. We process your data solely to provide our services. Our PII Scanner processes data entirely in your browser — we never receive or store scanned data.
You shall not:
Veilant owns all rights in the platform, including software, design, documentation, and methodologies. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform during your subscription.
Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Veilant is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our services do not guarantee regulatory compliance. You are responsible for your own compliance obligations and should consult qualified legal counsel for advice specific to your situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veilant's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. Veilant shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms with written notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
We may modify these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
